Why do preschoolers need to study the book of Judges?

March 13, 2019 | Aaron Armstrong

The book of Judges is one of the darkest books in Scripture. And because it is so dark, it often makes us wonder if it’s a book we should be teaching to children, and particularly preschoolers. Aaron and Brian are joined by Karen Jones, Content Editor for The Gospel Project for Preschool, to discuss why we want to teach little kids difficult passages of Scripture, and the good news they offer, on the latest episode of The Hero of the Story,

I’m ashamed to admit this, but this is the first of such podcasts that I have listened to, even though I have led The Gospel Project at my church for nearly four years! I won’t go into details about that, but from this point on, I’m going to listen to all of them. This was wonderful! We use this for our Kids’ Worship services for elementary school (gr. 1-6) each Sunday, and my favorite part of being involved in this ministry is getting to learn more about Jesus through teaching with the GP! I’m typing a summary and forwarding this recording to my teachers. Thank you for blessing me through this God-inspired insight.
