As the next generation gets older and our society drifts faster and faster away from any semblance of biblical morality, we can’t help but worry. The thought of what our kids will face when they step out into this world is understandably paralyzing to some parents.
But in Luke 2:1-7, we see names of rulers and references to a time long ago, a time where God was orchestrating His perfect will through leaders who had no thought for the kingdom of God, places where wickedness reigned. Ours is not the first culture to crumble, and it won’t be the last. God is the supreme ruler and authority, and He can bring His will to pass even in a wicked and depraved culture.*
